Just a quick verification that machines are not on Microsoft's
Hardware Compatibility List by virtue of the motherboard inside, but
instead because of actually doing the work to get them on. This is a
reply from the guy who runs the compatibility lab up at MS. The guy
that does the Windows NT HAL work for Digital also confirmed this verbally.

I'll waste no more bandwidth on this. I'm just responding to the
vagaries of the list that first say that being on the HCL is
important and then assert that being a Digital design is what's
important.
